Amanda Eddleman
Director of Bands & Color Guard
Mrs. Amanda Eddleman is coming to Maryland from the state of Texas and is excited to be the Director of Bands at Tuscarora High School, where she leads the Concert Band, Jazz Band, and Marching Band. She earned her Bachelor’s of Music Education and has continued her Master’s of Music Education from the University of North Texas, studying under Vern Kagarice, Jan Kagarice and Dennis Fisher.
Prior to her role at Tuscarora High School, Mrs. Eddleman served as a band director in Texas at Dewitt Perry Middle School in CFB ISD and Gunter ISD, where she successfully led marching band, wrote drill, taught music at all levels and guided her ensembles to consistent superior ratings at Region and Area competitions and evaluations. She is extremely dedicated to advancing music education and inspiring her students to reach their full potential.
At Tuscarora, Mrs. Eddleman is dedicated to building on the school’s tradition of musical excellence, guiding students toward success in county and state evaluations while cultivating a vibrant and inclusive band program. She is a member of NAfME, Texas Music Educators Association, Maryland Music Educators Association, Mu Phi Epsilon, and Women Band Directors International where she actively engages with the music education community to inspire and educate the next generation of musicians.
Lucas Hogan
Director of Orchestra

Mr. Lucas Hogan is a Frederick County (MD) native who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Shepherd University (Shepherdstown, WV) and a Masters of Music in Music Technology through Southern Utah University (Cedar City, UT). Mr. Hogan has worked with the Tuscarora High School Marching Titans since 2014, and was brought on as the Orchestra Director in 2020.
In his time at THS, Mr. Hogan has led the orchestra to Superior ratings at festivals, and received first place in competition. The Orchestra plays a wide variety of music from many genres, time periods, and cultures.
In addition to his duties as the Orchestra Director and Assistant Marching Band Director, Mr. Hogan takes great pride in teaching the Guitar, and Music Technology courses at THS and runs the morning announcements.
Mr. Hogan uses his real world experience as well as a high level of education to lead students in discovering modern recording and producing techniques, as well as career opportunities in the music industry.
Mr. Hogan plans to continue to grow and diversify the music opportunities at THS. He would like to see students from all backgrounds to have the opportunity to learn and perform in the school.
